Foundation Fighting Blindness (www.blindness.org) held their first Hampton Roads event in Virginia Beach on Sunday May 6th, 2012 at the 17th Street Park. This event, culminating in a 3 mile walk from 17th Street to 1st Street and return, resulted in various area teams including #GNATION raising contributions exceeding $65,000.00 to be used by the foundation in it's on-going research to find a cure to blindness |
